A short course in dealing with challenging situations confidently and effectively by developing appropriate strategies and skills.
The word conflict describes friction, distrust or lack of empathy between individual team members or with a person you directly lline manage. Deal with it badly and the ripple effects can manifest into a wave of discontent. Get it right and you can all build on the trust respect and knowledge gained. Participants will gain an understanding of the different types of conflict and how to resolve differences in a way that both parties benefit.
This is an interactive short course involving theory and practical exercises.
Practical skills
Wendy Smith has a Masters in Communications from Brunel University and a PGCE. She is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, a member of the Coaching Academy and has a coaching qualification from Results Coaching and is a visiting Tutor to the Royal College of Art. Wendy has been a Chair of Governors for two schools in the London Borough of Ealing. She has taught young people with challenging behaviour in further education, delivered parenting courses and run courses in assertiveness.
