Course description

This virtual course will be covering the statutory requirements for making accurate teacher assessments in reading, writing, maths and science.  STA training materials will be used to support teachers in making accurate judgements.  Key information for administering the KS1 SATs in reading and maths will also be discussed.

Teachers are asked to have access to examples of writing for two children, one 'working towards the expected standard' and one 'working at the expected standard', so that they can moderate their teacher assessment judgements.  Please also have acces to a copy of the 'Teacher Assessment Frameworks at the end of Key Stage 1 for 2018-2019 onwards'.
