Terms and Conditions for Hounslow CPD
Terms and Conditions for the London Borough of Hounslow and it's organisations and partners.
Applications to Events (course, conference, meeting or other item) should be made on-line either by individual Teachers, Governors or associated staff. All users are required to register for an account, subject to central authorisation.
Applications to book on to an Event will be sent to the Line Manager / CPD Approver of the User's registered Establishment. Bookings are reserved and not confirmed until approved by the Line Manager / CPD Approver.
Applications should be made at least 2 weeks prior to the course date, as Course Organisers will be deciding on course viability at that time.
It is expected that applicants for programmes that are scheduled to run over a number of days or across the three terms of the year will attend all sessions in the programme.
If you have booked a place, Reserved or Authorised, and are unable to attend, please inform us in writing as soon as possible by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
Failure to send notification of cancellation or not attend on the day, will incur a charge. For full details of our Cancellation Policy, please email email@example.com
Charging for courses is dependent on a school or setting’s level of buy-back within the Central Service Level Agreements. For more information please contact firstname.lastname@example.org. Please check carefully the cost for each Event prior to booking. The relevant cost according to the SLA of your Establishment will be displayed in the course details OR the Pay-As-You-Go or Special rates.
Updates, Alerts and Information
Course updates, news, information and details of new courses are available throughout the year. Registered Users can manage their Alert preferences, to receive weekly email updates of courses matching their preferences, via the 'My Profile & Bookings' page.
CPD in Hounslow is a flexible system and allows for additional courses to be added during the year. When this happens all CPD leaders are notified automatically. In addition we suggest you check our provision periodically.
Courses are provided by a variety of staff. Some courses are provided by school practitioners or Local Authority staff and others are commissioned for the LA from external providers such as Higher Education Institutions, the National College and local Tertiary providers
A small number of courses / programmes offered will be subject to more in depth impact assessment. This will include follow up evaluation of impact in classroom practice.
